About
Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo (1907–1961) was a Thai forest tradition monk and a student of Ajahn Mun Bhuridatta. He was a pioneer in teaching breath meditation (anapanasati) with detailed instructions on directing the breath through the body. His teachings, particularly 'Keeping the Breath in Mind,' made sophisticated meditation techniques accessible to laypeople and helped spread the forest tradition beyond northeast Thailand.
