angel Kyodo williams is a Zen priest and the second Black woman to be recognized as a teacher in the Japanese Zen lineage. She is the founder of the Center for Transformative Change in Berkeley, California, and the author of 'Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living with Fearlessness and Grace.' She co-authored 'Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love, and Liberation.' Her work focuses on the intersection of social justice, personal transformation, and contemplative practice.
