About

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (1910–1991) was one of the last great masters to receive the full scope of Tibetan Buddhist training in Tibet before the Chinese occupation. He was a principal teacher to many important lamas including the Dalai Lama and served as head of the Nyingma lineage. A prolific author, treasure revealer, and meditation master, he spent over twenty years in retreat and was instrumental in preserving Tibetan Buddhist teachings in exile.
