Lama Shabkar Tsokdruk Rangdrol (1781–1851) was a Tibetan yogi, poet, and wandering practitioner in the tradition of Milarepa. His autobiography, one of the great spiritual narratives of Tibet, recounts decades of meditation in remote mountain caves and pilgrimages across the Tibetan plateau. He was a master of Dzogchen and a passionate advocate for vegetarianism and compassion toward all beings.
