Trudy Goodman is the founder and guiding teacher of InsightLA, a vipassana meditation community in Los Angeles. She has practiced Zen and vipassana meditation since 1974 and trained with Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, and other senior teachers. She also holds a background in child psychology and was a pioneer in developing mindfulness programs for children. She is a guiding teacher at the Insight Meditation Society.
