Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist master in the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages. He is known for his ability to bridge Buddhist practice with Western science, having participated in landmark neuroscience studies on meditation at the University of Wisconsin. He is the author of 'The Joy of Living' and 'In Love with the World.' He oversees the Tergar Meditation Community, with centers worldwide. He famously undertook a four-year wandering retreat beginning in 2011.
